Country Fire Cloggers is a traditional clogging team from Ellsinore and Piedmont with dancers of all ages. They deliver a double-tap style of clogging done to bluegrass and popular tunes. Their percussive clogging dance, with origins in Scottish, Irish and African native dances, evolved at new world barn dances to the present rhythmic style. Led by instructor Jessica Phelps, they “use the feet to make the beat”. You will find this energetic group performing at area festivals and events throughout Southern Missouri. Country Fire members also have a competitive side and have won numerous awards at competitions held in Branson. Last year the group brought home the overall Traditional Team award.
